Egyptian film star Sawsan Badr is preparing to shoot her latest film. The theme of the film is about phobias as Badr plays the role of a woman who is afraid of sleeping at night, so stays awake all night instead and sleeps during the day, therefore living a different life to others, which pushes her to creating her own world where no one feels or knows her, except for herself. Sawsan refuses to act using any other accent than her own authentic Egyptian accent, as she believes that each artist should stick to using their own accent that they were born with. She also thinks that Arab viewers should get used to listening to different accents, pointing out that perhaps the reason for the popularity of Egyptian works is the fact that Egyptian artists are very attached to their own accents. The artist encourages the increase of broadcasting Gulf shows on Egyptian screens, so that accents are not an obstacle in the way of enjoying and understanding a show. In the same context, Badr hopes to work with Adel Emam again as she believes that he is a huge and genius star for choosing his works and co-stars with such precision. She said that although they haven’t worked together for a sometime, their personal relationship is great as he is a great and dear friend of hers.
